Leventis Motors a division of AG Leventis Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to the provision of quality automobiles and services to its customers in Nigeria. Nikos Giannousas, Leventis Motors Head of Commercial Vehicles Sales and Network Development, stated this at the unveiling of new Foton Light duty trucks in Lagos recently.

Giannousas who spoke to journalists at the launch of the trucks described them as having the best qualities in terms of performance, fuel consumption, comfort and low maintenance cost.

“The Foton trucks are world-class products with low fuel consumption, quality engines, comfort, and excellent payload,” he said. According to him, Foton is not a cheap brand among truck brands. It is a truck brand that brings value, like Leventis Motors, which has a name in the Nigerian auto industry.

Giannousas also disclosed that his company had keyed in into the Federal Government’s auto policy and had started assemblying Foton range of trucks at its plant in Ibadan. “We have started assemblying Foton light duty trucks at our plant in Ibadan and the plant has capacity for 2000 truck per annum,”he said, adding that the capacity of the plant could be increased if the demand increases.

Leventis Motors assembles and market/Foton light duty trucks, ranging from one to ten tons, 4×2, 6×4, tractor heads with 375 to 420 horse-power as well as tippers (8×4 and 6×4).

Qualityof trucks

He explained that the attention to their customers, in addition to their quality of trucks stands Leventis out among its competitors. “We don’t just sell trucks to you, we go step further to train customers staff on how to keep the vehicle running.

“From the day our customer buys our trucks, we offer them a contract that they can use to service their trucks. We give them real pictures of what they should expect. It is not only the retail price of the truck that the customer should consider but the service contract will give him an added advantage.”

“This include supply of spare parts and labour which come cheap, fuel efficiency from the Foton truck which the customer gains at the end of his purchase. “So we keep our words with the customers because we are very organized at Leventis. We are here today and will be here tomorrow for the customers.
