WARRI— AGGRIEVED members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State have called on the three leaders of the ruling party at the national level to reconcile their factions in the party in the interest of peace and unity, so as to deliver the party in the area in future elections.

The APC members, who converged at the residence of Smart Edema, the party’s candidate for the state House of Assembly in Warri, weekend, to reconcile all aggrieved persons, noted that there was an urgent need for reconciliation and appealed to Chief Adolor Okotie-Eboh, Temi Harriman and Prince Temi Omatseye to come to their rescue in their renewed effort to fashion a way forward and brighten the fortunes of the party in future election.

The Warri South-West APC reconciliation meeting, which was attended by a state Executive Council member of the party, Mr. Choice Olueh had Mr. Smart Edema, Robinson Eruaye, Julius Kenaobor, Frank Akpieyi and Goodluck Ekpebide, several former contestants and over 30 party faithful in attendance.

They maintained that disunity was the bane of the council in the 2015 general elections and appealed to all to bury the hatchet.

The convener of the meeting, Mr.  Edema and other leaders, admonished those returning to the party not to attempt to hijack the structure on ground, when they eventually return after their sojourn, saying that they must respect the current leadership and contribute to moving the party ahead of the opposition.
