ABUJA—Policemen at Force Headquarters have rescued six children kidnapped by a gang and arrested the culprits who masterminded the abduction of the children.

The kingpin was discovered to have made over N5 million from the kidnapping trade in the last three years.

Parading the suspects (names withheld) in Abuja yesterday, Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, noted that the accused persons connived to kidnap three children, out of which two were sold for N600,000.

While noting that all the six children had been recovered, Ojukwu said they would be reunited with their parents.

He said the suspects would be charged to court either in Kaduna or Owerri.
