Mixed reactions have greeted the alleged detention and interrogation of Austin Okojie, the Akwa Ibom Resident Electoral Commissioner by operatives of the State Security Service (SSS), also known as the Department of State Services (DSS).

There were media reports that Mr. Okojie was arrested two weeks ago, detained for 13 days by men of the DSS.
