BENIN—Over 300 former members of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, including the executive members of Unity Party of Nigeria, UPN, Akoko-Edo chapter led by its chairman, Mr. Adebayo Joseph, have dumped their political parties for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Edo State.
Ogbueshi Tony Eboka, APGA national vice chairman (South South zone), joined by the state chairman, Elder Godfrey Ehimen while receiving the defector in Igarra during the inauguration/swearing in of Edo North APGA senatorial leaders and Akoko-Edo Local Government Area/wards executives, described the APC and PDP as seismic twin with the sole aim of plundering the commonwealth of Nigeria.
Senatorial leaders inaugurated and sworn-in are: Chief Enike Wadada, Mr. John Rich, Isreal Ogbu and Veronica Ogboru, former councilor Etsako central ward 6 and immediate past Edo North senatorial woman leader for G2G.
Those for the council include Victor Lawani (chairman) Israel Ogbu (vice chairman) Daudu Lucky (secretary) Sunday Adebayo (youth leader) Madam Rose James (woman leader) Abu Aneru (organizing sec.) Paul Udeze (Treasurer) Elizabeth Olorunda (welfare) Prince Omo Ojo (publicity) and Odaudu Alfred (legal) amongst others.
Eboka earlier at a stop over on a visit led by the Edo North senatorial vice chairman, Prince Paul Ukonga to the residence of a PDP chieftain, Chief J. Emasealu, maintained that with what was on ground, APGA was set to take over governance at the governorship poll come 2016.
