WORTHY CHAMPIONS: Players of Dolphin FC of Port Harcourt rejoice after winning the 2010/2011 NPL Leaque
Media officer, Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt, China Acheru, has said that the League Management Company (LMC) of Nigeria has approved the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium to host league games. Acheru disclosed this in a statement in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
“Dolphins FC will, henceforth, play all their home matches in the League at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Omagwa. “This is as a result of a directive from the League Management Company following the approval of the stadium to host games,” he said.
According to the statement, Dolphins FC will play Nasarawa United at the newly approved stadium on August 1. Acheru said the match would be played by 2:00pm because Sharks FC of would also play against Warri Wolves by 4:00pm in the same venue. Dolphins FC lost 1-0 to Nasarawa United in Makurdi on July 18 in a Glo premier league match.
