OLEH—POLICEMEN at Oleh Division in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested a-28-year-old woman in connection with the sudden death of her lover in her residence.

It was learned that the deceased had visited his girlfriend at Irri, with the intention of spending the night, when she noticed that he was gasping for breath.

A source, who craved anonymity, said the woman on observing the strange behaviour, raised an alarm, which attracted other residents in her neighbourhood.

According to the source, the neighbours trooped into her apartment and were taking the deceased to a nearby hospital, when he gave up the ghost.

He disclosed that the deceased, until his death, was a fresh graduate who had just completed his National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, assignment and had taken up a teaching appointment in one of the private secondary schools in a neighbouring community.

Efforts to reach the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the division were unsuccessful.

However, a senior officer in the division confirmed the incident, saying police had commenced investigation.
