Moses Siloko Siasia, the 35 year-old  Chairman of multi-billion naira business empire, Mosilo Group and Bayelsa governorship aspirant has reiterated that he does not have any political godfather, stressing that he is depending on the support of God and the people of the state.

“I want to sincerely reassure Bayelsans that I have no godfather except God who is backing and sponsoring me on this RESCUE mission to create a sustainable future for our people. I have watched over the years as governors after governors are imposed on our people but when will our people get to choose who govern them?” he queried in a statement made available to newsmen.

He stated that he is not bothered by the threat of some elders in the state, who claimed to be kingmakers, adding that he is confident that the people will elect their leaders.

“I have received a lot of calls from elders in the state who claimed that they have 30 to 40 years of experience in politics and saying that no one can become governor in the state except if they say so but I know that it is only the people that can decide who govern them at this time of our political history. The people will decide, not rigging. The people will decide, not ballot box snatching. The people will decide, not imposition. I am inspired by the fact that when God and the people are backing you, then no force on earth can stop you. We are willing and ready to work with those positive minded elders who are futuristic in their approach to issues and real time development of our state”.

He beckoned on the people to vote for him in order to liberate the state from poverty, assuring them that he will never be under the dictate of anyone

“The time has come for Bayelsans to decide who becomes their governor. Enough of imposition and godfatherism in our beloved state. I am on the verge of making history with your help. With me, you can be rest assured that you will never have anyone dictating to me on how to run the state or who to allocate contracts to and how the money of the state can be spent. I assure you that we will retire all those who have dragged down our state into the pit of poverty.  If I am elected as your governor in December, the people of Bayelsa will become my godfathers. This I vow”.
