Aba—The Osisioma Ngwa Police Division in Abia state has arrested three suspected car snatchers and recovered a stolen Toyota Highlander .

The suspects; Alhaji Zakari Kaura, John  Saturday  Akpan and Peter Adele, were arrested at a hotel at Umuode area while looking for a buyer of the stolen ash coloured Toyota Highlander with a suspected fake registration number, ABC 803 UG.

Police sources said the suspects named one Prince Johnbull who is still at large, as the person who gave them the car to sell while Adele is a taxi driver who was hired to facilitate the sale.

Abia state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Onyeke Udeviotu Ezekiel, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, who confirmed the arrest, called on the owner of the recovered car to come forward with proof of ownership.

He hinted that the police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing Prince Johnbull and appealed to anybody with useful information that could lead to his arrest not to hesitate to report to the security agencies.
