As part of effort to inculcate safety consciousness among young people in the school, the Executive Director of Forwarder Group, Mr. Oluwole Eweoya has donated sets of safety equipment to students of Ewutuntun Community High School, Mafoluku Oshodi.
Eweoya said the foundation was donating the equipment to the school to support the government in providing facilities that will aid learning and ensure safety of the pupils.
“Many people are unaware of hazard around them even though some people may be aware but they take things for granted. what we call a behavioural test needs to be encouraged in the society so that people will be conscious of hazard around them and therefore takes precautions and avoid accidents that could cause injury that can lead to death”, he said

“We are starting from this council because this is where I was born, this is where I did my secondary school. We are going to continue to other schools in this council and extend it to other places. If we have the resources and the capacity, we will extend it to other places in the country because we have been talking to partners who have volunteered to be part of this safety sensitization”, he mentioned
He urged the students to wear protective equipment whenever they are in the laboratory to prevent any hazard or danger.
“If the equipment are worn correctly, gear such as earplugs, earmuffs, hard hat, gloves or full-face mask can dramatically reduce the risk of injury”
