Sultan, Archibishop Okoh, Buhari’s wife support dialogue on peace

No fewer than 550 guests attended the fourth Dialogue and Peace Iftar  Dinner organised by UFUK Dialogue with emphasis on dialogue and peace between different religions.

The session said that it was most important that dialogue and peace reign supreme between different religions, members and nations.

Held at the Sheraton Hotel Abuja, the session had in attendance the first lady, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, represented by the wife of the Nasarawa State governor, Hajiya Mairo Tanko Almakura as mother of the day.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhamadu Saladu Abubakar, was the chief host at the ceremony where several awards were conferred on distinguished individuals who “have worked hard to promote the message of love and tolerance in Nigeria”, while the Archbishop of the Anglican Church,  Archbishop Nicholas Okoh and the Secretary General of Jumat Nasril Islam (Jni), Dr. Klalid Abubakar were given  awards.  Professor Osita O. Oshita of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution got the Academic Award.
