The Senior Staff  Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, Eastern Zone has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to improve funding for University Demonstration Primary Schools, UDPS, stressing that the schools were under funded.

The Senior staff members made this call, yesterday, at University of Port Harcourt while protesting in solidarity with all the teachers and students of all the UDPSs in the zone on the plans by the University Governing Board to sack all the staff members of the University primary schools claiming they were ghost workers.
