Bauchi—Former Bauchi State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hajiya Talatu Barwa has explained that the 31 generators purchased by the immediate past administration were not looted as alleged by the recovery committee of the state government.

She said the generators were distributed according to the directives of the former governor, Isa Yuguda.

Barwa told reporters Tuesday in Bauchi that when the contractor brought the generators, she sought approval from the former governor before they were  distributed.
