Lagos—Police, yesterday, docked a 25-year-old house help, Queen Onalo, before a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court over alleged theft of N7 million from her employer.

The defendant is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing levelled against her by the police.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against her.

According to the prosecutor, Daniel Ighodalo, the offence is punishable under Section 285 (7) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

Magistrate O. M. Ajayi granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000, with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till June 22.
