LAGOS—Organisers of Niger Delta Achievers Merit Award, NDAMA honoured  a former Vice President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS,   Mr George Turnah.

Turnah, currently the Special Assistant on Youth Matters to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, was awarded the ‘Youth Supportive Personality of the Year’ at the ceremony held in Abuja.

The Director General of Newaves Innovations, Akakabota Derick, described Turnah as an inspiration to the Niger Delta youths, adding that the award was initiated “to recognise, inspire and celebrate distinguished Niger Deltans who have demonstrated uncommon patriotism, excellence and great leadership through governance and social responsibility in their various capacities.”
