Buhari

BENIN—TWO dismissed officers of Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Abiodun Imonikhe and Akpan Asuquo, who were reinstated to their former positions by the Court of Appeal sitting in Benin, Edo State, have appealed to the President–elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, to intervene in their plight once he assumes office.
They want Buhari to direct the management of FRSC to obey the court judgment by immediately complying with the judgment of the appellate court which was delivered nine years ago by reinstating them to their former positions and pay them their salaries and allowances.
The duo in an open letter to the President-elect through their counsel Monday Agienoji, said the FRSC appealed against the judgment of the lower court which was dismissed by the appellate court on June 21, 2007.
