Speaking to journalists at the launching in Ikeja, Managing Director, Deekay Group, Kavine C. Vaswani, said, “We have been around growing with the range of our products for 10 – 15 years now. The Nexus arrangement has been around for 10 years and everything we have done is as a result of our strong partnership with China, India and our source from Hong Kong”.
“So we provide much quality control, designing and branding from our sources of origin. This is the right time to bring our products to the doorstep of consumers rather than relying on distributors and wholesalers. We feel we can get the products hand on to the man on the streets hence it is our objective and desires to get closer to our consumers rather than being away or being at back stage”.
“Our services are unique”, Vaswani said. “We do provide after sales service and we are here to push our warranty so that no one can feel that any products bought from us will not be serviced tomorrow”. “Also, we do provide a wide range of colours and space that an average brand might not provide”.
“In terms of durability, we have done enough research with partners in India and China on our products before they are shipped to make sure they will fit in Nigerian climate and environment in the aspect of power sourge. Our products are strong and will serve an average Nigerian user, and we provide spare parts of our products”.
Head of Sales, Christy Augustine, said, “With the opening of the brand shop, our customers can see our various range of affordable products. Consumers are also assured of genuine Nexus products and every purchase is backed up with a two year warranty and after sales service. ‘This masterpiece is expected to foster a deeper and more meaningful connection between customers and the Nexus brand”.
Head, Brands and Corporate Communications, Damilola Owolabi, said that we are thrilled to unveil our first Nexus brand shop in Nigeria. Nexus is a dynamic brand that has over the years enjoyed a vibrant relationship with its customers and will not stop at Brand Shops, but will initiate several consumer friendly activities and communications going forward to constantly thrill and delight its consumers.
One of such initiatives is the ‘Life has just begun’ campaign with the sole objective of making home appliances a necessity for all. More will be coming on bill boards, Radio, TV etc across the country”, he said.
