UGHELLI— Director General of the Idisi Campaign Organization, Mr. Sylvanus Manureh, has condemned an alleged campaign of calumny against its principal and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP House of Representatives candidate for Ethiope federal constituency, Chief Lovette Idisi.

Reacting to a publication credited to a PDP youth in the area, Manureh debunked insinuations of Idisi being temperamental and a neophyte in politics, stressing that the attacks were a clear case of crass ignorance as he has contested the same position on the platform of the Democratic Peoples Party, DPP in 2011.

He said: “We are aware that these individuals who are bereft of ideas and are scared of Idisi because of his popularity. Rather than campaign and canvass for votes, they have resorted to unsubstantiated attack on him.”
