Workplace and Enterprise Readiness programme (WeReady), a Graduate finishing school initiative is set to hold at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building, Alausa, Lagos with over forty (40) Human Resources and Business Leaders for five Consecutive Saturdays from 8AM beginning from April 4, 2015.
Speaking on the programme, the Executive Director, Mr. Aruosa Osemwegie, a Human Resources Consultant and Author of “Getting a Job is a Job” said “the WEREADY sessions promise to be practical, interactive and insightful. Our team of experienced panellists and industry experts will be on ground to provide career path advice and strategies all aimed at making participants readily sought after by employers and also equipped enough to start enterprises”.
“The courses would include a Mock Interview session and a Networking & Information Fair. The programme is open to the first 500 people who duly register and pay the workshop fee of N5,000”, Mr. Osemwegie added.
Expected at the employability boot camp as facilitators include Mr. Victor Banjo, Director General, Institute of Directors of Nigeria; Mrs. Tolulope Agiri, Human Resources Director, Unilever; Mrs. Folake Adeniyi-Adeneye, HR Director for Oracle Sub-Saharan Africa; Mrs. Esohe Adetola, Human Resource Account Manager, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, and other key industry players.
The programme is a developmental school designed to provide job seekers, job changers, final year students & youth corps members with the insights, skills and tools needed for the workplace and business world. It equally seeks to inculcate in the participants the spirit of entrepreneurship.
