A group in Delta North Senatorial District, Delta State, Ofuobi Anioma, has resolved to work for the victory of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Senatorial Candidate,Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, in the March 28 election.

At the meeting convened by Hon. Louis Ndukwe, leaders from different parts of the district analyzed the senatorial candidates and concluded that the best qualified standard bearer, capable of effectively representing the Anioma interests and collective development aspirations at the Senate is Chief Peter Nwaoboshi.

According to the convener, “Ofuobi Anioma is convinced that if elected, Chief Nwaoboshi will attract development to Delta North because as a loyal party man, he will work with his colleagues to actualize the development vision of the people of Delta North.”

“We particularly acknowledge the exemplary leadership qualities of the former state party chairman and Delta North PDP senatorial candidate, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi and vow to work for his victory at the polls,” he said.

The group expressed concern that certain politicians who had previously benefited from the past political decisions of Chief Nwaoboshi, as the then party chairman, were today casting aspersion on him for inexplicable political reasons, saying that people should learn not to bite the finger that once fed them.

Earlier, the Secretary General of the group, Hon Tony Ndanenu, challenged members to embark on multidimensional campaign strategies to canvass for more support in other to guarantee the success of all PDP candidates in the election, including President Goodluck Jonathan, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and other PDP candidates.
