By Ikenna Asomba

LAGOS—A rights group, Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice, CHRSJ, yesterday, called on the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Department for State Service, as well as the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, to probe the alleged rigging video clip of the August 9, 2014 Osun State governorship election.

Coming few weeks after one Captain Sagir Okoli released a controversial audio clip alleging the use military to rig the June 21, Ekiti governorship poll, CHRSJ alleged that Osun video clip must be independently investigated just as the All Progressives Congress, APC is calling for the investigation of the Ekiti audio clip.

Addressing a press conference at the International Press Centre, IPC, Ogba, Lagos, the Executive Chairman, CHRSJ, Comrade Adeniyi Sulaiman, said the controversial video clip which shows how the APC allegedly rigged the Osun governorship polls must not be swept under the carpet.
