LAGOS—LEADER of Free Lagos for Good Movement and PDP governorship aspirant, Mr. Akitoye Branco-Rhodes has called on the people of Lagos State to reject the APC during the March 28 and April 11 general elections.

In a statement in Lagos, Branco Rhodes, said there was need to free Lagos from one person who is holding the state by the jugular.

He listed 10 reasons why the APC should be rejected, describing the APC government as anti-people and needed to be flushed out of Government House immediately because of its tyrannical activities.

Rhodes stated: ‘How do you describe a government that imposes multiple taxation on the people. How do you describe a government that takes sadistic pleasure in harassing petty traders and use KAI to extort money from hapless citizens.

The former governorship aspirant pointed out that apart from few urban centres where cosmetic projects were undertaken by APC government, most parts of the state are in bad state of decay, bad road, dilapidated structure that serve as schools, hospitals, health centres dot most of the rural and urban areas of the state.

Houses that were constructed which APC government described as low-cost houses were sold for millions of Naira which were not affordable to the masses, he said.

Rhodes also called on Lagosians to cast their votes for President Goodluck Jonathan, explaining that Jonathan administration had achieved success in the power sector, agriculture and transport, coupled with massive road construction taking place across the country.
