THE leadership of the Urhobo National Youth Council, UNYC, has described the call for the sack of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Attahirhu Jega, by members of the Asari-Dokubo-led Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force as unwarranted and undemocratic.

UNYC, in a statement by its National President, Comrade Monday Oyeghe, yesterday, stated that INEC is a public institution whose actions are covered by the Constitution, stressing that it is undemocratic to call for the sack of its Chairman.

The group, while lamenting the yet to be collected PVCs, urged Deltans to use the remaining weeks to the general elections to collect their PVCs.
