PORT HAR-COURT— CHIEF Press Secretary to Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, Mr Dave Iyofor, has called for the unconditional release of his staff, Mr Freddy Ndigbara, who was taken hostage on Sunday in Kaani, Khanna Local Government Area of the state.

Iyofor appealed to security operatives to help secure Ndigbara’s release, adding that they should also unmask those behind the abduction.

“I strongly condemn this dastardly act and call on the abductors to release him immediately and unconditionally. Mr Ndigbara is a civil servant working in the Press Unit of Government House. Why would anyone think of kidnapping him? “
