A community leader and Ichie Ugochukwutubelu 1 of Ichida, High Chief R. U. Ezemedolu has called on eligible Ndigbo in the country to collect their permanent voter cards, (PVC) and come out enmasse on election days to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan for second term in office.
Ezemedolu who spoke with newsmen in Lagos, said the president has performed creditably well and deserved another opportunity to complete his transformational agenda.
While cautioning politicians and their supporters to desist from making inflammatory statements but focus on issues as their individual ambitions are subordinate to national interest, Ezemedolu said, “Those fanning embers of war and disunity to have a rethink, and that Ndigbo will not be part of any plans to divide this country as the cost of the three years Nigeria civil war are still fresh in their memory. Though, Ndigbo are apolitical but should not be seen as sign of weakness.”
