The Police High Command in Abuja, yesterday, directed the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 1, Tambari Mohammed, to personally lead investigations into the death of Professor Ahmed Falaki of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

A statement by Force Public Relations Officer, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, urged Tambari to conduct an indepth forensic investigation on the incident, with a view to unravelling the circumstances surrounding the death of the renowned Professor of Agriculture.

It said arrests had been made and the professor’s vehicle recovered in Bauchi State.
