ABEOKUTA—For any government to succeed in impacting positively in the lives of the people, their needs should form the basis of policies and decisions.

This was the submission of the Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka during his campaign tour to market women and various groups in Abeokuta South Local Government Area, yesterday.

Isiaka who was welcomed to the market by hundreds of market women, artisans and various youth groups promised to run a people-centered government that will take their needs into consideration before executing any project.

He said: “The essence of democracy is to allow people to take decisions about how they wanted to be governed. We shall take inputs from you and execute projects that you want. We shall not give what you don’t want or execute any project in any community apart from what that community requested for.”
