Member of the Publicity Committee of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Mr. Paul Odili, has dismissed the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Mr. O’tega Emerhor’s claim that he is running to rescue the state from PDP misrule as baseless.

Odili said in a statement that Delta State under the administration of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan had enjoyed tremendous growth, through its Delta Beyond Oil vision, which Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP candidate would build on.

He said: “There is nothing to rescue in Delta State by APC or Mr. Emerhor. The state has shown great progress under the current administration in infrastructure, security and human capital development. Deltans do not trust APC.

“Okowa is the man for the job and he has reached out and Deltans love him and want him to succeed the incumbent.”
