Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Delta State, has assured the people of the state, that better days were at sight if only they will muster enough courage to clip the wings of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, by casting their votes for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Emerhor said that the misrule of the PDP was one of the factors in next month’s election, adding that it was now left for the people to decide whether or not they want socio-economic freedom or to remain enslaved by the ruling party’s corruption cabal.

He said that the 16 years of PDP bad governance had retarded the economic growth and overall development of Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general.

The APC candidate, who received his party’s flag from the National Chairman, Chief Odigie Oyegun, said that Delta State must be salvaged from the stronghold of economic saboteurs, who without conscience, looted the treasury for themselves and their political associates.

He charged party supporters at the Warri Stadium that General Mohammadu Buhari was a disciplined man, a fact that need to be put to best during the elections.

Meanwhile, Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, has expressed confidence in Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, to change the fortunes of the state as he did in Edo State.

Oshiomhole was appealing to Delta voters at the Warri Township Stadium where Gen. Mohammadu Buhari’s presidential campaign rally berthed in Delta State.

He said: “With Emerhor, Delta now has a chance to feel the change Edo State has been experiencing under APC.”
