Lagos-Association of Ehime Mbano Indigenes in Lagos will Saturday organize a cultural festival, aimed at keeping the Igbo heritage alive and to mark the yuletide.

The event, which will hold at the Lagos National Stadium, is also targeted at sensitizing the public on the forthcoming general elections as notable personalities are expected to attend.

President-General of Aka-Ikenga, Chief Goddy Uwazurike, will be the chairman of the occasion while the Chief Executive Officer of Mainstream Bank, Chief Pascal Egerue and Pastor Okey Anoruo, will be special guests.

Kingsley Dimaku, who just clinched the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ticket to contest Ehime-Mbano seat in the Imo House for the second term will also be in attendance, while the father of the day is PDP chairman in Imo State, Chief Tony Chukwu.

The chairman, organi-zing committee, Simeon Chikezie, said: “We are using this opportunity to bring together and draw closer our sons and daughter in Lagos.”
