Mr. Nigeria and MTV Shuga star, Emmanuel Ikubese who starred as Tiwa Savage’s hubby in the visuals for My Darling has disclosed why he made a guest appearance in the video.

In a chat with Showtime, he said:”It’s an amazing experience. I got a call from my director Kemi, saying that they want me to play a role in the video. I immediately got the script and love the concept .When it comes to music videos a lot of them don’t have concepts and story lines.

I love the concept behind the video and said “Yes I will love to be part of it”. I was actually in the middle of a movie production , but I had to find time to do it because I actually love the idea. I have loved the outcome . Its breaking the internet and breaking records in terms of views.

I love the idea of my looking like a very serious guy, a married man which is something I love. I love family life, looking after a woman, and the kids. I love fighting for something I love which what the video represents. I think people will begin to see me in that light.”
