Premium collocation data centre services provider, Rack Centre, appeared as finalist in the Data Centre Dynamics Awards, Modular Deployment category for Europe,  Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region for 2014.

The Data Centre Dynamics Award recognises innovation, leadership and best practice in the global data centre industry and Rack Centre is the only company from Africa to be nominated.

The winners will be announced at a Gala Ceremony on December 11, 2014  in London. Over 600 industry professionals will convene and to celebrate the shared successes of the EMEA data centre market.

Managing Director of Rack Centre, Mr Tunde Coker, expressed delight to receive the short listed notification.

He described the development as “another first for Rack Centre and a great first for Nigeria.  We remain the only officially Tier III design certified data centre in West Africa and now the first Nigeria to be so recognized.

We are honoured to be flying the flag for Africa at the awards.  It is a testament to the vision, hard work and best practice put into the operation and the continuing maturity of the data centre and information technology industry in Nigeria”.
