THE Founders’ Day of Government College, Ughelli, comes up 19 January 2010 at Ughelli, Delta State.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the school’s Old Boys Association, Dr. Cliff Akorah, said the event will also feature the Annual General Meeting of the association and the 65th anniversary of the institution.

He said activities lined up for the day include the morning general assembly of old boys, staff and students, boys,general inspection of the school and the meeting of the old boys with the principal, staff, students and ParentTeacherAssociation (PTA).

The President-General of GCUOBA, worldwide, Mr. G.T.S. Adokpaye, will preside over the day’s activities.
