ABUJA – Strong indication emerged  Monday night that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal may drop his presidential bid.

It will be recalled that some members of the House from the All Progressive Congress, APC, on Thursday, last week, purchased the presidential nomination form for the Speaker, persuading him to run for the office.

But Vanguard gathered that the Speaker who had on Friday told Journalists in Abuja that he had accepted the challenge but would continue to consult on the matter recapitulated Monday night.

It was also gathered that all was now set for the Speaker to launch an all-out campaign for the governorship contest of his home state, Sokoto.
