Hundreds of participants are being expected to throng the Katsina, Sokoto, Ebonyi and   Ekiti state venues of the Glo Xchange agent-recruitment exercise that is presently going around the country.

The recruitment will take place at town hall meetings to be held in Prosperous Royal Hotel And Resort Iworoko Road, Ado Ekiti, Bye Pass Road, Tamaje, Sokoto, Motel, GRA Katsina and in Grace Court Hotel, Abakaliki.

At the Town Hall meetings, Globacom and partner-bank experts will give orientation about mobile money and how to operate the Glo Xchange network business. They will also give the participants the opportunity to ask questions for further clarifications, after which they will be given the opportunity to sign up as Glo Xchange Agents.

Head of Mobile Money and Financial Business, Esaie Diei, said he expects the attendance in the above mentioned states to outstrip the attendance in the previous locations.

“Following successes recorded in more than 24 cities that have hosted the town hall meetings, the people in these states are eagerly waiting for the Glo Xchange train to arrive in their areas” Diei said in a statement.

Those who have attended the earlier meetings have hailed the network as a great money-making opportunity offered by Glo. They said that the network will grow small businesses while making financial transactions flexible.
