The Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) has condoled with former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, GCFR on the death of his beloved wife,  Nigeria’s former First Lady, Hajia Maryam Ndidi Babangida who passed on recently.

In a condolence letter addressed to General Babangida and signed by the APCON Registrar and Chief Executive, Alhaji Garba Bello Kankarofi, the Council recalled that the former first lady touched the lives of millions of Nigerians in profound ways during and after her eventful tenure as First Lady.

She exerted considerable influence on the achievements of General Babangida during his tenure as Nigeria’s head of state.

It will be recalled that it was during General Babangida’s tenure that APCON was established as a government regulatory agency.
