Yola—Police Detectives from the Force Headquarters yesterday quizzed the former Acting Governor of Adamawa State and the Speaker of the state Assembly, Umaru Fintiri, for over two hours over alleged plans to cause unrest in the state.

The Speaker confirmed the incident, but he said it was connected with the electrification of street lights in the state capital, pointing out that there was a petition that he inflated the contract to N2.3 billion, while the actual project cost was N283 million.
