Ever heard that inspite of how overwhelming a situation appears to be, so long as one still enjoys the breathe of life, it is possible to be happy?

Oh well, this might sound very impossible especially for the highly oppressed, persecuted, young ones going through years of joblessness and couples whose marriages have just packed up.

Motivational speakers in the likes of Pastor Evidence Onwuaka believes that people can choose to be happy despite being in devastating circumstances.

Latest book

Taking charge of your destiny, staying on top of every situation with the help of God and most importantly, choosing to be happy, are the main thrust of Pastor Evidence’s latest book entitled; Happiness is by Choice: Revealing The Key To Happiness. The book was presented in a well attended event held during the weekend at the Colonades Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos.

It was actually a quadruple celebration for pastor Evidence Onwuaka of Demonstration Ministries Worldwide who also publishes the Singles Digest magazine, as she marked her 50th birthday, 20 years marriage anniversary, 30 years in the Lord as well as the presentation of Happiness is By Choice.

The event featured exhortations, testimonies about the life of the celebrant and song ministrations.

The book which the author disclosed, took her just three months to complete, is forworded by Bishop Peace Okonkwo. It is grouped into 5 chapters vis a vis, A must to know, Know yourself, Know Your Partner, Cause Of Unhappiness and Boosters And Benefits Of Happiness.

Radiating with so much joy and excitement, the elegantly dressed master degree holder in Business Administration and 2013 Alumni of the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS), said, “I’m just happy and feel humbled by the turn out of friends today, I feel like crying but I told my friend let me not cry today because its really awesome, people have shown me that I am loved.”

She praised God for being with her since “I gave my life to Christ when I was 19 years plus. I’ve been so rugged in faith with Him. Its never been easy but because of my believe and focus, He has been there for me.”

Frowning at the level of divorce these days, which actually informed writing Happiness Is By Choice, the author advises young people to go into marriage based on what God says because marriage is Gods institution. “Learn and trust in him to take you through.

My experience in marriage, gave birth to the book. So, understanding is critical because when you understand your spouse you would know he is a gift from God. Without your spouse you are gone, your spouse covers your nakedness and weakness. Marriage is a school whereby God gives you a certificate yet, you cannot graduate from the school.”

The author explained that the theme of the book, centers around the fact that a lot of people are not happy, many are enduring rather than enjoying marriage and this is so because there are information they lack.

Understanding is what makes things happen, God has created us not to suffer but to enjoy and this book will open eyes of people to see things that will position them to be happy.”
