By Samuel Oyadongha

Yenagoa—Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, has lauded Nigerians for their support, prayers and encouragement to the Federal Government, under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan in tackling the security and other developmental challenges confronting the country.

Dickson, in a goodwill message to mark the 18th anniversary of the creation of the Bayelsa State and the 54th Independence celebration of Nigeria, said no government will succeed in delivering its mandate, especially in the execution of people oriented policies and programmes, without the support of the citizenry.

Dickson noted that like any other country, Nigeria has had its fair share of obstacles right from independence to date, stressing that challenges bedeviling the nation were not peculiar to the current administration.
