WARRI—Itsekiri graduates across Delta State, under the aegis of Coalition of Itsekiri Graduates for Tony Obuh, have resolved to strengthen the support base of the former Permanent Secretary, Government House, Asaba, Mr. Tony Obuh, in the state’s  gubernatorial race.

Coordinator of the Coalition, Mr. Justin Edema, in a statement in Warri, said that the group, which has over 1,000 members had decided to pull resources together in collaboration with the Chief Ayirimi Emami-led Delta United for Tony Obuh, because of the aspirant’s quality.

Edema noted that aside from Obuh’s experience in government as a civil servant, he has “a good heart which is better than all the good heads in the world.”

Promising that his group will mobilise the entire people of Warri federal constituency and Delta South senatorial district to ensure that Mr. Obuh emerges the next governor of Delta State, Edema enjoined Deltans to put sentiments aside and  back the aspiration of “the proven technocrat because Delta State needs someone who is vast in administration and has the necessary exposure to pilot affairs in the state at the end of Governor Uduaghan’s tenure.”
