By Abdulwahab Abdulah

Former Deputy  Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo North, Alhaji Usman Shagadi, has said he was not ready to join issues with any of Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s aides over his exit from the ruling party to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Speaking through his son,  Mr. Abdul-Jamin, in a reaction to a published story in the media, Shagadi said he would not glorify any of the governor’s aides by joining issues with them through reacting to any of their utterances.

A member of Edo State-owned board, Mr. Usman Abudah, was said to have questioned the potency of the Shagadi in Auchi kingdom.
According to Abdul-Jamin, Mr. Usman Abudah lacked the capacity to question the ancestral root of their name Shagadi in Auchi.

He also tasked Abudah to seek answers to the origin of the following names in Auchi, including Abudah, Highbreed, Eka, Jokers in Auchi.
The APC chieftain’s son claimed his father, Usman Shagadi, became a ‘leper’ to the APC after he defected to the PDP due to absence of democratic culture in the state’s  ruling party.
