ABUJA — The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar, yesterday, swore in Mr. Ibrahim Abba as the Acting Grand Khadi of the Sharia Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory Judiciary.

Khadi Abba took over from Grand Khadi Muhammadu Shehu Lamido who retired on June 24, after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 65 years.
The CJN urged the acting Grand Khadi to be mindful of the oath of office and oath of allegiance to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria he took.
