Alleged Imposition: Bomadi group calls for removal of Delta PDP chair

By Festus Ahon

UGHELLI—Dissatisfied with the outcome of the just concluded council primaries, the people of Bomadi under the auspices of Grassroot Support Group, GSG, Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State, have called for the removal of the state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi over what they described as the poor handling of the chairmanship primaries in the area.

Chairman of the group, Mr Naotu Kingdom in a chat, said that the primaries in Bomadi were not properly handled. He faulted the purported declaration of Mr Oluwole Karetimi in place of Mr Ebimobo-Owei Babar as the party’s flagbearer.
Meanwhile, Mr Godswill Komani has congratulated Mr Ebimobo-Owei Babar on his purported emergence as the PDP chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming council elections slated for October 25.
