KADUNA — Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, has ordered the immediate redeployment of the Kaduna State Commander and his two deputies over allegations of official misconduct.
Consequently, a panel of inquiry, according to him, has been constituted to investigate the allegations against the former commander, Mohammed Jibrin Kaka and his two deputies, Obainoke Goddy and Ahmed Mamuda.
To this effect, the NDLEA boss has appointed Mr Samuel Azinge to take over from Kaka as the new State Commander. Mr Onyishi Daniel Ogbonna is to replace Goddy as the Assistant Commander, Operations and Intelligence while Kenneth Stephen Irmiya relieved Ahmed Mamuda as the new Assistant Commander, Administration and Logistics.
Giade in a statement by the agency’s head, Public Affairs, Ofoyeju Mitchell, explained that the move was to pave the way for an independent investigation.
