Ado Ekiti—GOVERNOR Kayode Fayemi, yesterday appointed caretaker chairmen for the 16 old local government areas, LGAs, as well as the newly created 19 Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs, in the state .
This came as the Governor-elect, Mr. Ayo Fayose, vowed to review some of the policies of Governor Fayemi after his inauguration on October 16.

But Fayemi in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Olayinka Oyebode, said the new council chairmen would be sworn in today at the Jibowu Hall, Government House, Ado-Ekiti.
The statement gave names of the chairmen as follows: Ifesowapo LCDA—Adeyeye Johnson;
Oye LGA—Mr. Tope Longe; Ifeloju LCDA—Olumide Adeyanju; Efon LGA—Mr. Dipo Ogunleye; Ilejemeje LGA—Tope Ogunleye; Ajoni LCDA—Aribasoye Adeoye; Ero LCDA—Akinwale Alebiosu; Ifedara LCDA—Sina Ogunleye; Ekiti West LGA—Kareem Agunbiade;
Ise/Orun LGA—Ayodeji Ajayi and Emure LGA—S.F Adewale.

Others are, Isokan LCDA—Olumide Fadipe; Irewolede LCDA—Ojo Atibioke; Irede LCDA—Ipoti, Mrs. Remi Balogun; Ijero LGA—Chief Dayo Ajayi; Irepodun/Ifelodun LGA—Azeez Awolokun; Ikere West LCDA—Gbenga Omole; Ikere LGA—Femi Ayodele; Ido/Osi LGA—Rotimi Afolabi; Araromi LCDA—Bayo Akerele; Gboyin LCDA—Damilare Ajayi; Moba LGA—Sunkanmi Onipede; Ekiti East LGA—Rotimi Ajidara; Ayedire LCDA—Prince Fadumiye Ayodele; Ekiti South East LCDA—Lateef Akanle; Okemesi / Iso-Ile LCDA—Olatiboye Titus; Eka meta LCDA — Joshua  Ayorinde;
