Edu-Sports Foundation has concluded plans to hold a Football Campuses training for Nigerian youths from ages 6 to 18 years, in order to develop sports potentials in all talented youths by creating an early-age sporting awareness.
The organisers said the programme would be organized in all parts of the country, adding that it would prepare youths for international competitions.
A statement by Mr. Alexis Olisadebe said: ”Edu-Sports Empowerment Foundation team believes through our personal experiences that, the better and progressive growth of Nigeria and other African Countries lie in the hands of the growing youths.
“Therefore, their appropriate education based on empowering them to make use of their God-given potentials for: self, regional and national development on a positive path through Football and other sports activities is our prime mission.
”We are going to launch Edu-Sports Foundation with Football Campuses in all parts of Nigeria from September this year; and the chosen children from the Football Campus activities will follow up through an International Sports University where the Chosen Children will proceed to graduate as Sports Journalists, FIFA standard Referees, Coaches and international sports boys and girls to measure with the standards in other advanced countries of the world.”
He further said that the programme would stimulate and develop sports potentials in all talented Nigerian youths by creating an early-age sporting awareness with maximum benefit for the growing youths.
