OWERRI — Uneasy calm now pervades Imo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, following the mysterious disappearance of an electric generating set and eight brand new computers and accompanying monitors and printers from the Skills Acquisition Centre, Owerri.
Vanguard investigations revealed that other items allegedly stolen or removed from the centre included a cooking spoon, four cake pans and 30 canopies and rods.
Some staff of the Ministry told Vanguard that the losses recorded in the centre followed the “sudden redeployment with immediate effect, of one Mrs. Ifeoma Dimoji from the FSP to the Ministry’s headquarters, vide NWASD/AD/150/269″.
