Terrorism: Police in Rivers call for vigilance

PORT HAR-COURT— RIVERS State Police Commissioner, Mr. Tunde Ogunsakin, has called for vigilance by residents in the state to guard against acts of terrorism.

The state  police boss, who spoke, yesterday, at a security meeting with stakeholders in the state, reminded the people that security was a shared responsibility between the people and security agencies.
Represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge of Criminal Investigation Department in the state, Mr  A. Abbey, the CP appealed to people of the state to quickly alert the Police about any abandoned bag at busy places, such as motor parks and markets.
