National Union of Printing, Publishing and Paper Products Workers, NUPPPPROW, Vanguard Media Limited chapter, has elected new officials to run its affairs for the next three years.

Mr. Oghene Joseph, of the Administration Department emerged chairman after scoring 106 votes to defeat two other contestants, Suleiman Mumuney and Bruno Ogbebor who polled 57 and 37 votes respectively.

Mr. Aromashodun Alade who emerged Vice chairman, polled 120 votes to defeat Agbim Sunday with 83 votes.

Similarly, Mr. Alex Kola Folorunsho and Destiny Eseaga were elected Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively unopposed.

Mrs. Charity Ottah was also elected Treasurer.

Speaking the new chairman said he would use the opportunity given him to further enhance members’ welfare, saying “To have emerged as the winner is by divine grace. I am ready to work together with everybody to improve the welfare of members.”
