The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has said that the recent upgrade of its business registration procedure to a 24-hour service was functional, contrary to insinuations in some quarters that it had failed.
A statement by the CAC’s Head of Public Affairs, Williams Churchill, said the new improvement in its service delivery to its clients was not only functional but also efficient, despite occasional hiccups resul-ting from information and communication technology challenges that were common in developing economies.
It said: “We wish to state unequivocally that the 24-hour business registration procedure launched in 2012 by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment is functional and servicea-ble to the satisfaction of our clients.”
